Biography
CHANNARONG BAMONGKOL received the B.Eng degree in electrical engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1992. Under the support of Japanese government scholarship, he received both M. Eng and Dr. Eng degrees in electrical engineering from Nagoya University, Japan in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He was a Research Fellow with Meijo University, Japan in 2000 supported by a JSPS postdoctoral fellowship program. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. His research interests include power system simulation and analysis, power system protection and substation automation.
