Smart Grid technologies, including Renewable Energy (RE) forecast techniques play an important role in RE integration capability of the modern power systems. In this seminar, selected research topics are presented under the Thailand – China Collaborative Research Framework on Renewable Energy, carried out by Chulalongkorn University, China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI), Southeast University (SEU) and State Grid Electric Power Research Institute (SGEPRI), and supported by National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Keynote addressed by Professor Yusheng Xue, Honorary President of SGEPRI, titled “From Smart Grid to Cyber-Physical-Social System in Energy”, followed by focus group discussion in the afternoon.
